Illusion Encounters II
Sharaf Alhothi, Illusion Encounters II photo exhibition is an attempt in creating awareness of photography as an art of observation beyond normal photographs. Based on the concept of pareidolia, the exhibits are representation of himself (faces and expressions within the textured surfaces), but that is the only hint you will get and you will have to figure out how these images appear to you. As quoted by Sharaf “One photo of the illusion encounters art can reflect its ideas within a thousand mirrors. It is up to us to interpret the way we see it through” Kudos to Sharaf for sharing this contemporary work which is not widely known within the realm of photography yet.
The exhibition is currently running at Port Commune
3, Jalan 51/201, Seksyen 51, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
from July 22nd to July 30th.
